Here is a glimpse of my colorful trip to Melbourne. The weather is a tad depressing, however the endless food, shopping & architecture with my bestfriend had made up for it. Despite being set in the same country Melbourne and Sydney are extremely different. I'm not familiar with trams more than trains in getting around and definitely not familiar with such frequent transport on Sundays. I am amazed by the idea of 24/7 pancakes, and that I can go for a sugar hit at 3am. Alongside the actual cheapness of chips from my newly favorite fast food spot Lord of the Fries and its American inspired burgers. The shopping simply topped | it. I have never seen this much sales stock in my whole shopping life. Even though I'm visiting during the end of financial year, compared to Sydney, Melbourne is a sale mania. It's what goes on sale in Melbourne that sets it apart. In Sydney, only the ugly go on sale. I'm extremely happy and this is a very successful trip I must say. I guess you can say Melbourne may be an Aussie girl's New York City. With love from Melbourne. |
